Dr. Jim Lacks

*was given an Honorary Doctorate Degree 

July 23rd,2010 during Youth Conference by Dr. Jack Schaap & Hyles-Anderson College.

* We are so blessed to have him as our Associate 
Pastor. He has been faithfully serving the  Lord as a youth pastor almost 40 years. He is also a great Music Minister. His favorite Scripture                            is II Chronicles 7:14. He truly LIVES this verse.

Jim Lacks was born and raised on a farm in South Boston, Virginia. He married his wife, Nancy, and soon after attended Hyles-Anderson College in Hammond, Indiana. After working as Youth Pastor in both Ohio and Missouri, he joined Ron Talley in 1986 to build the Hyles Baptist Church. Bro. Nathan Thompson 

We are honored to have Brother Nathan on our staff.                       Bro. Nathan attended our church during his teen years as well as attended our school, where he graduated with honors. He left to attend Hyles-Anderson College and there he also graduated with honors.   Bro. Nathan married one of our very own girls,  that had spent her entire life at our church, attended our school & Hyles-Anderson College as well. Nathan & Brittany were married and lived in Indiana for one year while finishing college. Upon graduation, they relocated to Virginia, where Bro Nathan now serves as our Assistant Pastor & Bus Director.  We are so blessed to have Bro. Nathan & Mrs. Brittany Thompson HOME.
